Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus elevates player control with an intuitive control system using the front and rear touch screens and the gyro controls. This turbocharges the high speed gameplay, giving players new ninja powers unique to the PS Vita.
The high octane action and storyline of Ninja Gaiden Sigma are boosted with the addition of refined interface and support controls. Players can access a precise firing mode on the front panel to take aim and launch projectile weapons at enemies using the Six Axis. Further, players will be able to activate and perform powerful Ninpo attacks with the rear touch screen by tapping, painting, or swiping in accordance with onscreen indicators.
Ninja Gaiden II is a 2008 action-adventure game developed by Team Ninja and published by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360. It was the last game directed by Tomonobu Itagaki before his departure from Tecmo. An alternative version, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, was released by Tecmo Koei for the PlayStation 3 in 2009, and for the PlayStation Vita in 2013. A remaster, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, was released for PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S on 23 January 2025.
